UFO! My Strange Encounter
A cold February night, an orange orb, strangely bright . . .
Hovered above distant trees, then flew towards us, silent and fast.
The size of a small car, above us it passed.
Changing direction, backwards then forwards again, up and down.
A fireball? A meteor? No trail, nor was it going that fast.
We stared at the UFO for at least a minute . . .
until it disappeared from view, behind sandstone cliffs.
A strange night, I’ll never forget it.
