An excellent blender is a vital tool at my house. It’s something we use every single day, often even two or three times. So spending more on a great blender makes sense for us. Please note that if, say a blender, is something you rarely use, then it doesn’t make financial sense for you to splurge on one.
So we’ve had our current blender for quite awhile and we love it, but it’s on its last leg. The motor has been making some pretty funky noises lately. Every time we’ve used it this week has felt like playing Russian roulette. Rather than bite the bullet and purchase a new one . . . for a whopping $400, I suggested my husband call the customer service just to see if it was still under warranty (Donovan didn’t think so, because as I’ve said, we’ve had it for quite awhile) or to see if it could be repaired. (It can be good to exhaust all options before making a big purchase.)
Lo and behold, our blender was still under warranty! and they are sending us a new blender. Just like that *snaps fingers* a ten minute phone call saved us from making a $400 purchase.
